IGN has published a review of the Darkside Chronicles, we invite you to view it:
8.0 Presentation
The story is supposed to have played most of the Resident Evil franchise, but if you can still have a great time. A decent amount of options, including some awkward restrictions.
The game looks fantastic, excellent character animations, environments, and real-time lighting, and the CG scenes are excellent. Lipsyncing needs work, but it's a minor quibble.
The dialogue is so ridiculously bad as some previous efforts to Resident Evil, but it's pretty cheesy nontheless. Moody background music sets the tone in a big way.
The first numbers with the inflatable chamber is a major obstacle to getting used to, but once this is a really fun shooter. Even if a bit repetitive.
Surprisingly long and reproducible. You can (and will) return to the levels of play as another character, and online rankings are a good stimulus for the highest scores.
