Rumours now suggest that Christopher Nolan probably not end up having to do with the third Batman movie after all. A reliable source within Batman-on-Film (BoF) reports that Warner Bros. will have to make a bold effort if you want to have Nolan to direct the third part of the popular franchise. Also had been running rumors that the studio would have already compiled a short list of candidates to replace in Nolan.
Apparently, according to BoF, "The death of Heath Ledger in January 2008 shocked both Mr. Nolan that he was fully convinced that he ( Ledger) and Batman share the same level of prominence in the film, "adding further that originally was scheduled to appear in the third Joker film.
The source also reported that BoF is "the right thing to ensure that Chris (Nolan), is devising a story with his brother Jonathan and David Goyer , but would not be until at least 2012 when we look back to the Bat Man in theaters. And that this announcement is only a probability uncertain. It is also argued that it is possible you do need to wait until 2013 to make it more secure. "
